I don't think IP addresses, as abstract expressions, are capable of participating in picnics, but the human beings editing under IP addresses are certainly welcome!

Much appreciated. In an editing climate where high-profile Wikipedians have advocated identifying users they have met at these events to their employers, and other users are even now being dragged off to court by subjects of BLPs, I suppose the underlying concern here is anonymity.
