Welcome to WikiProject Museu Picasso on the English Wikipedia! We are a group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to the Museu Picasso in Barcelona and Pablo Picasso in general.

On March 23rd, we celebrated a GLAM-WIKI meeting at Museu Picasso. This is one of the projects born after that.

This project aims to coordinate the exchange of knowledge between the Museu Picasso and the community of Wikipedians. The mission of the museum coincides with the encyclopedia regarding the maximum diffusion of knowledge. This project contains a set of initiatives that could be carried out using Wikipedia as a working environment. The intention is to start a few and plan them over a year or two.

WANT:

1. Content: Improving the Wikipedia articles that refer to the museum and the artist.
2. Relationships: Establish a permanent relationship with the local community of Wikipedians.

DO NOT WANT:

1. Publicity: The project aims to improve Wikipedia, not to advertise the museum.
2. References: Will not ask the wikipedians to add unuseful external links to articles.
