Home media cover is not necessary for identification or commentary, since article Biggles (film) already has a poster in the infobox. Also not very good quality. Serpinium ( talk) 07:43, 22 October 2015 (UTC) reply

As explained in the image box, the image is to display the poor depiction of the DVD release - it has the wrong film title, and a World War II fighter, when Biggles is a WW1 hero, and such a plane does not feature in the film. Quality is as good as allowed under free use criteria. Chaheel Riens ( talk) 12:20, 22 October 2015 (UTC) reply
Those complaints are only notable if brought up in reliable sources, which I don't see in the article. Serpinium ( talk) 12:34, 22 October 2015 (UTC) reply
Limited use of primary source ("A primary source may only be used on Wikipedia to make straightforward, descriptive statements of facts") - the dvd cover is itself evidence that the incorrect title was used, and depiction of incorrect era aeroplane. Do you redact the quality issue - or at least quantify why it is "not very good quality"? Chaheel Riens ( talk) 17:47, 22 October 2015 (UTC) reply
My complaint about the sources isn't that you can't use a primary source to say these things, it's that these things are not worth commenting upon if they are not mentioned in reliable sources. Lots of films have bad, inaccurate box art, and title change isn't an inaccuracy—perhaps they wanted to give it a new title. I find this box art really quite commonplace, and not worth commenting upon. Heck, there's even another Region 2 cover with the subtitle, here. As for the image, most fair use cover images are smaller in size. I originally found the image grainy, but I realize now that's just the way the source looked. So I do take back my complaint about quality. Serpinium ( talk) 20:48, 22 October 2015 (UTC) reply
The title change is an inaccuracy, whether they wanted to give it the new title or not. The film itself - as is stated in the article - is called just "Biggles" - it was only retitled in the US. I note with irony that I'm now defending the titles, as I originally made a similar mistake a few months ago. However, the use of a WW2 plane for a WW1 hero, is just silly, titles notwithstanding. Chaheel Riens ( talk) 17:49, 25 October 2015 (UTC) reply
But you still need backup from sources. Otherwise you might as well comment on every cover that had anything strange about it. Here, let me try: " The Reign of Fire poster contains an inaccuracy: at no point in the film do helicopters defend Parliament from dragons." In this case, there are a few sources to support commenting on this. If you can find sources criticizing the Biggles DVD, only then does it make sense to keep the image. I think this file fails WP:NFCC#8 since its contextual use does not assist the reader do do what fair-use images should do: identify the subject if the article. Otherwise, if it were to be used to identify the subject of the article itself, it would violate WP:NFCC#1 since the subject of the article is still alive. This probably violates WP:NFCC#8 since the subject of the image is not the subject of the article but rather a subtopic, the subject of this image is not fully identified in a way in the article to validate its fair-use claim, and the proper use of this image could probably only be if the image was placed on the article whose subject is the play or one of the actors in the image (provided they are deceased.)
