i guess i didn't properly understand the rules regarding this photo. this is the author's author photo and the photographer gave him permission to use it to replace the picture from the texas book festival which he did not like and does not feel is a good likeness. they asked me to resolve this for them. i am posting a new image to the wikimedia commons which will be public domain to replace it since you say it does not conform to wikipedia regulations because the author does not want the picture that Nv8200p posted on his page. i hope this is clear.
