  • When to use the Level 4im tag: According to Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace, the Level 4im tag should be be placed on a vandal's talk page when you assume bad faith and want to give the vandal strong one-time very strong cease and desist warning. Since this language is vague and open-ended and since some admins will not take disciplinary action unless four distinct warnings have been given within a month, the think tank debated the purpose of the tag and when it should be used. The general view of the tank was that the tag should be used with personal discretion for bad faith edits that are extremely bad (perhaps even in violation of laws) and/or are numerous with "no excuse". An admin will likely take action after this one warning tag has been used if there has been a long history of vandalism and/or the point has been conveyed: "if you carry on, you will be blocked". No real consensus was achieved.
  • Reaction to Wikipedia:Revert, block, ignore: The tank generally agrees with the essay, but disagrees with the point that the CVU encourages vandalism. At the very least, it does more good than harm, as long as it remains non-paramilitary.

Wikipedia Ad?

Random Thought Time: I wondered to myself a few minutes ago, "Hmmm, does the CVU have a Wikipedia Ad inviting users to join the force?" I checked out the list at Template:Wikipedia_ads and didn't seem to find one. Is this something on the agenda, or have you guys previously discussed this, or is this completely new and does someone have any interest in working on this? If we want an ad, I'd be happy to do/collaborate on one - I'm actually a graphic designer by trade. But, just curious, let me know! :) Theopolisme TALK 04:08, 6 June 2012 (UTC) reply

I don't think it's a bad idea. Maybe to 'advertise' the new divisions we have. Just an idea. I wouldn't mind seeing a 'Kipedia Ad. Achowat ( talk) 12:50, 6 June 2012 (UTC) reply
I may mess around with something then. Theopolisme TALK 15:05, 6 June 2012 (UTC) reply
Completely new idea, but a very good idea. I would definetly like to see what you come up with. Dan653 ( talk) 02:42, 7 June 2012 (UTC) reply
Argh, the stress! Busy with some other real design work right now, but I'll get cracking hopefully over the weekend and post what I come up with. Theopolisme TALK 03:18, 7 June 2012 (UTC) reply
