Hi Kingturtle. Since I would be using this as an alternative account rather than my main account, I don't have an account to change to Gooch. Hi, I participate mainly in Bulgarian wikipedia. I had an account there since 2007. I think I have created also the same username "Alexgs" at English WP. I tried to retrieve the password, but I am not sure if I have given some old and now non-existing email. I don't receive email from these requests.

Currently I am trying to contribute in the Bulgarian WP, but when I try to go and make small changes ( interwiki links ) in the English pages I have to logout from my bulgarian user and login with my new username "AlexanderGS" into the English WP to do the change and to be able to track the changes.

I have a lot of changes on the Bulgarian WP, and I would like to keep the history. So I didn't find a way to move the "Alexgs" contributions to my new global user "AlexanderGS". That's why I would like if it is possible to take ownership on the English WP usernmae "Alexgs". Then if this happens, I will make my account "Alexgs" global and will work normally without burdens to login/logout for every edit in different WP.

part of the reason i'm requesting usurpation is that apparently over the years, various things have been bolloxed up regarding my account and the abandoned Anastrophe account, to wit - when i looked up 'Anastrophe' on special page:users, i see that the Anastrophe account was granted the rollback feature. problem is, if you read section 104 on my talk page, you'll see user yamamoto ichiro informed me that he was granting me rollback, back in february 2008. i always wondered why it never worked - he granted it to the wrong account. further complicating it - there's apparently a redirect in place from User_talk:Anastrophe to my User_talk:Anastrophe. account - which is why i couldn't leave notice on the user's talk page that i wished to usurp the username. Sorry about re-posting this, but I wanted to add something I wanted to change my user name because I can never remember this one and so I wanted to standardize my user names. I realize this is kind of a non-necessary request but it would be nice if you could change the name, if it is not possible to change my user name right now I also don't have a problem with it. I just wanted to change it so that I wouldn't have to look up my conformation email every time I wished to log in, it kind of negates the purpose of having an account, because often I don't want to look it up.

The target account made only minor edits (4 of them) nearly four years and has been inactive ever since. If the account holder does not object, I hope it can be believed that his/her minor edits and extended absence is a sign s/he is not wishing to be an active participant and therefore wouldn't mind relinquishing his/her username to someone that wishes to be an active member by the username I love. Since the turn of the century I've gone by the username CaptainMorgan in every Internet avenue where possible. I signed up to Wikipedia this past January, making positive contributions where I see fit while striving to be an active member of the community...
