Usurping (taking over an account that's registered, but hasn't been used - what you're talking about) is carried out at WP:USURP, however requests are generally not completed if the user requesting the usurp hasn't been on Wikipedia for several months.  Clerk note: It is possible to change the username, but the username you wish to change to can't be promotional per the Wikipedia:Username policy. You might be getting confused with usernames and articles, when you're logged in you can create an article with (basically) any name, your username only limits you on what pages you can create in your userspace (all pages in your userspace have to start with User:<your username>). There are articles about other companies, but the username policy on promotional usernames applies to everyone. User accounts can't be deleted, but you're able to just stop using the account.  Clerk note: It is possible to change the username, but the username you wish to change to can't be promotional per the Wikipedia:Username policy. You might be getting confused with usernames and articles, when you're logged in you can create an article with (basically) any name, your username only limits you on what pages you can create in your userspace (all pages in your userspace have to start with User:<your username>). There are articles about other companies, but the username policy on promotional usernames applies to everyone. User accounts can't be deleted, but you're able to just stop using the account.
