Comment. I'm not sure there's anything wrong with "Joshiskickass" as a username - kickass in this context clearly means something like "really cool". A more serious name might be preferable but I don't think the old one violated policy. How can it be promotional? Everything here is promotional. Everyone that contributes is promoting their own knowledge basis. When I signed up using TheDevilsRequiem, I wanted to see inside wikipedia and then kicked myself because it was too late to change my username. If I do a search for Rennes le Chateau then all the necessary info comes up about that including personal website. Look you'll decide what your going to decide anyway so I'll leave it with you as it doesn't like I have achoice in the matter, but disappointed about the promotional idea.
