J.R. Hercules

Hi. My request involves reattributing edits that I made under an anonymous IP ( User:70.111.10.89) to the list of edits I have made under the name User:J.R. Hercules. If you check some of the edits under Bill Tilden and Leon Trotsky, as well as some of the correspondence I had with User:DakotaKahn, you'll see that User:70.111.10.89 and User:J.R. Hercules are indeed one and the same person. Thanks in advance. J.R. Hercules 01:25, 14 December 2005 (UTC) reply

I began making contributions without a username before I came here, under the 86.137.147.118. Could you make it so that the Contributions list and User Talk Page of 86.137.147.118 could apply to my YesManJr account? Thank you. YesManJr 15:03, 20 December 2005 (UTC) reply

I'm afraid we can't do either of those things. This page is for username changes only, not reattribution of edits. — Dan | talk 19:06, 20 December 2005 (UTC) reply
Fair enough. It's not really that important anyway. YesManJr 23:04, 20 December 2005 (UTC) reply

Please change my name from User:Benlkc to User:BenLKC I am sorry that I have created a new account call BenLKC, please delete it and change this account to the new name. I just want to keep everything clean and I don't want to make any confustion.

Thank you. Benlkc 16:30, 17 December 2005 (UTC) reply

You have one edit, which is to this page. Please simply edit under the BenLKC account. You don't need to worry about deleting the old one; it's harmless. — Dan | talk 00:52, 19 December 2005 (UTC) reply

The current owner of the username is inactive. I have that username on ro.wp, where I'm an administrator, so would be more comfortable if it was the same. Thanks. -- Rebel2 18:22, 24 December 2005 (UTC) reply

Well, there's not much taking-over considering he isn't using it, is there? -- Rebel2 00:20, 31 December 2005 (UTC) reply

Chan Han Xiang

I would like to appeal to delete User:Chan Han Xiang, and move my content to User:Sjoy, a registered account with zero edits. Currently, I am using User:Chan2 as a sock puppet for this transection, because I have lost my password for User:Chan Han Xiang. Reasons for this move is because of privacy concerns as well as the loss of old password. Thanks. Chan2 04:47, 22 December 2005 (UTC) reply

I'm afraid we can't act on the Chan Han Xiang account unless you can confirm that it actually belongs to you. — Dan | talk 05:30, 22 December 2005 (UTC) reply
  • How do I prove myself then? Are there anyways? My e-mail account is not active or I, if I'm not mistaken, have never released my e-mail to my account. User IDs are used by many poeple all over Singapore, so how? Please help to suggest ways to confirm my identity. Thanks. Chan2 14:47, 26 December 2005 (UTC) reply

Nick levine

I have accidentally signed up twice, as User:Nick levine and User:Nick Levine. Is there any way to merge the two? Or failing that, is there any way to block me signing in on one of them? (For preference, I'd keep User:Nick Levine as it has consistent capitalisation.) Have I made this request in the right place? Thanks Nick Levine 16:34, 22 December 2005 (UTC) reply

This is me from my other account, for verification as it were. Nick Levine 16:35, 22 December 2005 (UTC) reply
As far as merging accounts goes, I'm afraid we can't do that. However, if you wish, we can block one account and leave the other active. Linuxbeak (drop me a line) 20:24, 22 December 2005 (UTC) reply

Is it possible to please delete my account entirely? Or block it? I'm not going to be able to participate here any longer. Phoenixflight 23:42, 22 December 2005 (UTC) reply

It's not possible to delete your account. I could block it, but that doesn't seem particularly useful; there's no harm in leaving it dormant. — Dan | talk 00:01, 23 December 2005 (UTC) reply
