Keep, there is a connection, these are periods considered the apotheosis in the history of a country or people.

Keep, on the basis of 'Golden age' being a description not a name, for the articles categorised here. If these subjects are verifiably 'golden ages' then it seems fair to categorise them together.

Nominator's rationale:rename and reparent, Bangladesh did not exist yet when these Sufi saints lived.
Marcocapelle (
talk) 20:42, 12 October 2022 (UTC)reply
Oppose The rationale is that they were not revered during their lifetime but after their deaths. Most of them are revered exclusively in Bangladesh, and many only in the specific districts in which they preached Islam. Many of these people were ethnic Arabs or non-Bengali and had very little to no following in West Bengal. Which is why I think Bangladeshi Sufi saints makes sense as they are saints to Bangladeshis. While you are right, the national state did not exist, the people, and the land did.

WP:SMALLCAT, it contains only 2 articles that are already directly interlinked. I purged two articles that were not about the period described in
Maghrawa or not about this region. No objection to recreate the category when a decent number of articles is really about this topic.

Nominator's rationale: - these have all been created and populated in the last few hours by Rathfelder, despite ongoing related cfds. There has been as yet no consensus expressed for the existence of this type of category ('occupation' and 'secondary school'). The number in square brackets is the number of articles for the school: eg
Category:People educated at the City of London School has 173 articles. The argument for Eton (5000 articles), that the category was so large that a subcat scheme was necessary, does not hold for all these. (There is my opinion no reason to subcategorise large categories unless there is compelling justification for the subcategories, not the case here: Law is not a subject taught at secondary school and so the decision to enter the legal profession was nothing to do with the school.)
