- Nominator's rationale: As a subcat of Category:Places of worship converted to a different religion, this category should have a title that reflects its scope: it's for individual places of worship, much more so than articles on the general topic of conversion to mosques. - Yeah, the more I think about it the more I think that's the better option. Based on my understanding and Place of worship#Islam, you're not really going to have an Islamic place of worship that's not a mosque. And even if you had a Jama'at Khana that gets consecrated as a mosque, you wouldn't call that process "conversion".
- On a related note, "Non-Islamic" seems more correct than "Non-Muslim" anyway. I may do an RM at the corresponding article. --

- I don't see what's ambiguous about "Venezuelan conductors". Bus conductors are rarely notable for being bus conductors and electrical conductors have no nationality. Furthermore, the Sri Lankan conductors category page was empty so I just moved Sri Lankan conductors (music) over; I assume all the others are empty too (not checked). I reverted my tag in the Category:Conductors (music) by nationality page because the page is protected. I added this proposal to the talk page instead then realised TW had already added this discussion so I thought I'd better come over and comment. I did look at the old CfD but it closed without consensus so I thought I'd renew debate. — Iadmc ♫ talk 16:31, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

- @ RevelationDirect: Exactly that. I fact I've reconsidered after reading Oculi's posts above... and I hadn't though of trains! It makes sense as it is, following the top cat. Therefore, I'm fine with returning the one I moved back (Sri Lankan conductors back to Sri Lankan conductors (music)) and moving Colombian conductors to Colombian conductors (music) as it was never mover, it seems. Eastern Orthodox Church, the
Oriental Orthodox Church, the
Church of the East, the
Anglican Communion, and the
Old Catholic Churches. None is in communion with the Catholic Church, but they all view themselves as Catholic. Several of them adhere to the
Four Marks of the Church: "one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church".

- Actually I strongly doubt if Orthodox churches are usually counted as part of Catholic churches. But Catholicism does include Old Catholic churches, independent Catholic churches, and the general visibility of Catholics and Catholic organizations in society (e.g. Catholic politic parties). I propose we merge Category:Anabaptist denominations established in the 20th century into Category:Anabaptist organizations established in the 20th century. They are essentially identical. For the preference of that title, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity/Anabaptist work group/Categories#Anabaptist General Categories. Catholicism (the "universal doctrine") is used to refer to Christian denominations which adhere to "episcopal polity, sacramental theology, apostolic succession and sacred tradition". Besides the Catholic Church, the term "Catholic" is used in reference to the
Eastern Orthodox Church, the
Oriental Orthodox Church, the
Church of the East, the
Anglican Communion, and the
Old Catholic Churches. None is in communion with the Catholic Church, but they all view themselves as Catholic. Several of them adhere to the
Four Marks of the Church: "one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church".

- I object to the above description reflecting cpndensus. Furthermore, there is no need of an article " Catholicism in France" etc. since there already is Catholic Church in France, much less so equivalent categories. Chicbyaccident ( talk) 20:39, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
- Actually I strongly doubt if Orthodox churches are usually counted as part of Catholic churches. But Catholicism does include Old Catholic churches, independent Catholic churches, and the general visibility of Catholics and Catholic organizations in society (e.g. Catholic politic parties). I propose we merge Category:Anabaptist denominations established in the 20th century into Category:Anabaptist organizations established in the 20th century. They are essentially identical. For the preference of that title, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity/Anabaptist work group/Categories#Anabaptist General Categories. - Oppose -- WP has a long history of categorising denominations as such. It may be that the target needs to be purged of denominations. If this does go ahead we need to ensure that the subject is also merged to Category:Anabaptist denominations to avoid the loss of data. Peterkingiron ( talk) 11:04, 19 December 2016 (UTC)

- Propose deleting: Category:Sigmund Freud in fiction to merge it with Category:Cultural depictions of Sigmund Freud
- Nominator's rationale: As the category Sigmund Freud in fiction clearly states it's usually about depictions of Freud himself, so in that case the category would be better if it was merged with Cultural depictions of Sigmund Freud, in line with all the other categories about cultural depictions of historical people or celebrities.
