murder of prominent or important person, such as
heads of state,
heads of government,
politicians,
royalty,
celebrities, or
CEOs.
" That said, Wikipedia does not always call the killing of a "prominent or important person" an "assassination". Wikipedia looks at the
reliable sources that publish articles about the killing. If those reliable sources are not using the term "assassination", even when it is a prominent or important person, then Wikipedia will not use the term "assassination" toward that person's murder.
