Unremarkable pot-boiling collection of old recordings. Article is nothing but track listibgs & discographycruft; the only saving grace is the cover art. If you like that sort of thing.

Keep Was transferred to both a 10-inch LP and set of 45s, sold many copies and these recordings proved Crosby's range of catalogue. Did you the know the first person to top a Country song chart was Bing Crosby? Two of his western songs were million-sellers and these songs had wide appeal at the time of their release. This articles should be kept for archival purposes and to help people who are selling these albums get more information on them. - (

My greengrocer sells lots of potatoes, and they are not notable. And he shiftys them without the aid of Wikipedia. The author of this comical objection clearly does not understand what an encyclopedia is for.

Keep with question? Why is this different than the quite large number of his other albums shown in the album template? He and Frank were the Elvises of their day. If a Bing album is not historically notable (unfortunately I don't have the ability to time travel to the 40's to find the sources), then we might as well shut down the Wikipedia servers and go home.

Additional comment - a google search does turn up a large number of hits including numerous books in several languages. Most hits are minor.

Delete - No obvious signs of better coverage therefore a better article.

Question - What is significant about this album apart from the individual tracks and Bing himself? I say "significant" because the fact of it being a Bing Crosby release means there can be a case for notability, but that doesn't mean it needs to have a stand-alone article. What would a

I would be perfectly happy with some type of compromise (something that I think we should do more of). What about a list of Bing country albums? Or a list of less notable Bing albums?

Comment: Still endorsing my delete vote. What has been added, is all background on the individual hits and vinylcruft. Notability for the album itself has still not been established. In other news: the AfD-deleted
Cowboy Songs, Volume 1 (Bing Crosby album) has been
recreated. -
