Students will be learning about the UN Sustainable Development goals and finding entries in Wikipedia related to one of them. Through this exercise they will begin developing their academic and professional digital identity.
Welcome to your Wikipedia project's course timeline. This page will guide you through the Wikipedia project for your course. Be sure to check with your instructor to see if there are other pages you should be following as well.
Your course has also been assigned a Wikipedia Expert. Check your Talk page for notes from them. You can also reach them through the "Get Help" button on this page.
To get started, please review the following handouts:
Please show me the entry before you select it to get it approved.
You'll want to find or create an appropriate photo, illustration, or piece of video/audio to add to an article.
You can consult websites like Google Images, Pixaby, and Flickr for images with a license to reproduce.
At the start of the week your finalized version should be uploaded into the Wikipedia entry. By the end of the week you'll go back into the live entry to see if there has been any comments made about your contribution.
