Gelechiidae used to be at a fearsome 5500 stubs. Since then, it's been split up nicely across several subcategories.

Several of the new categories still are fairly large and could be split up further by using genus-level categories, for which there is precedence (among other examples,
Category:Euxoa stubs,
Category:Proteuxoa stubs and
Category:Sympistis stubs come to mind).
As such, I propose:
Article-numbers given for existing categories do not include numbers in their already-existing subcategories. Unless otherwise stated, all articles for the proposed subcategories can be found in the category I'm proposing it as subcategory of.

There are now around 70 stubs with {{

Category:1980s country song stubs is a large stub category (>1,000 stubs), but there's no easy way to break it apart by subgenre, as "country music" doesn't have very clearly-defined subgenres. Instead, the only method of potential subcategorization would be {{
1980-country-song-stub}}/
Category:1980 country song stubs through {{
1989-country-song-stub}}/
Category:1989 country song stubs. This is unusual within this categorization scheme, but it's comparable to the "song by year" categories and it's unlikely that the large stub category issue will go away anytime soon given the lack of easily-available sources for 1980s songs. All proposed categories would be >60 articles according to Petscan. ~
