Peter Cucè—Brooklyn resident, I really get around, especially in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. I know a lot about food and a fair amount about Chinese enclaves (and many other ethnic enclaves) in the city. Much of the information about Chinese enclaves in NYC is out of date.
GeorgiaArchivist—Native of Brooklyn now living in Atlanta suburbs. Historian/Archivist with federal government. New-York City historian for 25 years and former associate historian with The Green-Wood Cemetery National Historic Landmark and licensed NYC tour guide. Many published articles on NYC history from 1624-1875.
Richard I have been creating the borough templates. I just have The Bronx left to complete. Check out your neigborhood and you can navigate from there.
Renata3 - can take pictures. Put request on my talk page!
Bjelleklang - working on the Central Park article, with the goal of reaching FA status, can help out in other areas if nescesary.
User:CoolGuy - doing what I can on individual streets too.
Ruthfulbarbarity I've tried to flesh out some of the categories that have gaping holes in them, e.g. members of the New York City Council, state legislature, etc., while also creating a few articles on local subjects that I thought merited attention, e.g.
Kings Plaza,
Coliseum Books,
New York Blood Center, New York media figures, such as
Richard Brookhiser, among others, etc... Even though most of my effort is focused on politics I try to fill in some of the dead spots in other NYC-related areas as well.
Wasrule, I have lived in Brooklyn all my life, I go to school in Manhattan. I know a fair amount about the different city schools, areas, and neighborhoods, and a lot about the transportation.
LucilleBall--I'll try as best I can to improve the articles.

Louis WaweruLouis Waweru Talk 10:20, 9 December 2020 (UTC) I've been dormant as an editor, and am mainly joining because I started a requested page on a whim and I'd like to get a feel for how things work around here. My only GA was about
a site Boston to which I've never been. I created
Sakura Park, and followed new links made to it here, thinking I could learn how to assess its importance, but decided to start work on a request to create
Uniform Land Use Review Procedure because I can think of an interesting case study, and have documentation about it laying around somewhere home or in my office. I think a missing section would be very helpful to visual people with an infographic. Actually, an infographic may be the best way for anyone to digest the procedure. The City
made one, but I think they copyright everything. 🤷🏽♂️ I hope joining will allow me to post a request for a digital artist to recreate it.reply
