Ellicott Rock, which marks and spans the border of South Carolina and North Carolina, appears in the SC listings but not in the NC listings. Like other boundary stones, it should be in both jurisdictions, i think.

Nice catch, DR! The NRIS listing is for "Pine Street Creamery, (Former)", listed December 1, 1997, location 414 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, North Carolina. It should indeed be "State" not "Street" in the name. The place is also a Raleigh Historic Landmark, as shown
here.

Massey Hill High School in Fayetteville is listed in the NRIS as in Wake County. Fayetteville and the address of the school are clearly in Cumberland County (which does not border Wake County). --

Saint Agnes Church, 27 Franklin St., Franklin, North Carolina: Listed in the NRIS as in Caswell County. Per the North Carolina State Historic Preservation Office, it's in Macon County

Dallas Graded and High School, 300 W. Church St., Dallas, NC: Listed in the NRIS as in Duplin County. The address is in Gaston County and nowhere near Duplin County. Also, according to the USGS GNIS database, the only populated place named Dallas in North Carolina is in Gaston County. --

Leak-Chaffin-Browder House, NC 8, 0.1 mi. S of jct. with NC 1941 and St. Philip's Episcopal Church, NC 65 and 8 and SR 1957 are incorrectly listed in the NRIS as in Germantown. Per the NC HPO website, they're in Germanton.
[5] Germantown is in Hyde County in eastern NC. Germanton is in Stokes County in north-central NC.
Robert Lafayette Cooper House, 109 Campbell St., Murphy, NC. Town name is NRIS database is misspelled as Murphey. Murphey, NC is an unincorporated community in Duplin County in a completely different part of the state. --
