AFD Can find no independent reliable sources on him. No record of him in the Olympics or winning a world championship. The article's only link doesn't work.

Keep He is widely regarded as being, as one person put it, "the person who brought kung fu to the secular world." I couldn't find reliable sourcing with a quick look, but his name is so widely mentioned in Chinese martial arts circles that I believe those sources exist. I believe this is another article that needs sourcing, not deletion.

Keep I can find no mention of his world record at the FITA website, but he has competed at the World Championships. In his event he was 33rd in 2009, 9th at the indoor event in 2007, 18th at the outdoor event in 2005, and 2nd in 2003. At one point he was ranked #1 in the world by FITA.

Weak AFD I corrected the information in the article. He had 2 good placings in the European judo championships--2nd in 1969 and 3rd in 1970. I don't think that's quite enough to pass
WP:Athlete, but others may feel differently.

comment There are many of these for sale, so I suppose they are notable. Would a dictionary definition be better than an article?

This article has a serious COI issue. It might squeak by
WPMANOTE if everything in the article were true, but the lack of significant coverage by third parties is a problem.
