Arguably one of the greatest footballers ever, there is much more to say on this.
Africas premier club football event. Should be on an equal footing atleast with articles like UEFA Champions League.
This is a major FIFA tournament and should be prepared with a high quality standard. The qualification stage is currently in progress and should be maintained as a good page along with the tournament page.
Since this is the article of the FIFA World Cup winning captain, it has less information then the rest of the italian squad.
He is the new head coach for Germany. There is very little on his playing and coaching careers. There seems to be some inaccurate statistics on his playing career.
The article needs some clean up.
This is almost small enough to be a stub. There should be more.
Ridiculously short and untidy - so much more can be done with this article, e.g. first/second leg scores in finals, trivia section, records etc.
The main thing that nees to be done is to add more info. Bayern Munich Junior Team is a top Junior Team in Germany and should have much more in the article.
Quite short and unstructured for an article on a player of repute and recent track record.
Near enough every team on this list has no information or information verging on the lower side of ultra-sub-basic. Though not strictly 1 article, I'm sure a lot can be offered to the lot of them. The teams in question:
Something that, with a bit of work, could easily become a Featured List. It's something that everyone could pop into, do couple of rows, then go off and do something else!
One of the best managers from the past, becoming a legend at almost every club he showed up. The main issues of his career are discribed, but are in need of a huge improvement and much more detail then what's written right now.
Arguably the best Scottish footballer ever, and in his time one of the best players in the world. The article is far too short and doesn't provide many statistics or detailed information of his career.
Part of the Swedish national team, and UCL participants F.C. Copenhagen. The article is far too short and doesn't provide many statistics or datailed information of his career.
A poor article about one of the greatest footballers ever, the last Italian to win the Golden Ball. Great if improved to FA.
Same grounds as Uruguay team. Also would like to menton that there are literally hundreds of National Team Articles which are ridiculously short - Maybe we should organise some sort of mass improvement?
Very short for the midfield dynamo and vicecaptain for Sweden and F.C. Copenhagen-captain. He is a great player and has competed for Sweden at the last two World Cups.
It's just a stub. It's a football stadium that host the 5th best league in Europe and a league that has unmatched attendance in Sports. There must be something to add despite only being 5 years old.
It's just a stub. It's a football stadium that host the 5th best league in Europe and a league that has unmatched attendance in Sports. This stadium holds the team to last dethrone Bayern Munich. There must be some scoring record or something that can be added.
Horrible article. Could easily be expanded, and lists replaced with prose.
Probably currently the best football coach in the world: In his first 2 complete seasons as a manager, he won 2 Portuguese championships, 1 Portuguese Cup, a Champions League and a UEFA Cup with FC Porto. Then, two English Championships in two years. A very dividing and controversial figure: either you like him or hate him; called by some as an arrogant, by others as a genius. He deserves a better article. He's one of the main figures of the sport in the world.
This article, about England’s greatest football manager, has been improved a lot over the past few months, but still needs vast improvement.
e.g. No infobox; his playing career, both at club and international level, is covered very sketchily; and the whole section on his career as England manager could do with a acomplete re-write to remove a lot of the POV stuff.
Just list upon list upon list, and the only thing before 2003 is a link to History of Celtic F.C., which could be merged in and trimmed down anyway. Although a good article anyway, it just needs a bit of fine tuning, and this is the best way to do it.
Small article on a nationwide organisation that works closely with English Football Association in a anti-homophobia campaign & provides a forum for homosexual football fans. Now the subject of as much focus as the anti-racism campaign in the 1980s. Possibly the largest LGBT-associated football organisation in the United Kingdom. Requires minor expansion (especially Campaigning section) & currently has few links from other articles.
This article is in the status of a stub, so it may be needed to be expanded where the status of the article can be updated to the next level, I know that it may not generate the support, but at least I try to help this Costa Rican team.
Reason: This article is linked to all over the internet and it is very poorly written. I know that people worked out the kinks getting out the megalists of players and things, but maybe now we can work on the grammar, focus, and logic of the article. Such an important team should be a featured article.
This team played in Northern Counties East League Premier Division, so this club should be worked on to the full extent of this club (history, players, records, and honours). Also that this club is, surprisingly, the second oldest club in football history.
One of the most well know American clubs with a huge influence on American soccer today. A very disorganized article that doesn't include very much information and has lots of red links. м info 18:21, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
This is the most decorated team in English Football. The article does not follow an encyclopedic tone. There are many citation needed tags, and it was recently delisted from Good Article Status. Such an important club in football should have a well written article. Please consider helping this article out!
Tostão is one of Brazil's greatest players and one of the stars on Brazil's 1970 World Cup dream team. He was also Pelé's strike partner for a long period in the 60's/70's. Nowadays he is considered one of the greatest and most respected football pundit and jornalists in Brazil. This article is missing a lot, it is even considered a stub, but with some work this article can achieve the same standards the Garrincha article achieved.
One of the most successful clubs in Belguim has a very poor article.
This list really has potential for expansion.
A man who has, in the words of the BBC, "stood the test of time" - Oh, and he's given the footballing world a few well known players to boot ;-)
One of the greatest soccer clubs in American history, they were the first to win an American treble and provided many players for the US's 1930 FIFA World Cup, where a Brookhattan player scored the infamous winning goal against England. This article needs some help with logo, colour's, and history.
For a highly notable player, the article is still a stub and information is dated.
A decent article, but does need a prose adjustment and a reshuffle of sections. With a bit of luck and sorting it could be enough for GA status - the core info's there, but it needs to be easier to find.
Very good article, possibly improveable into featured article?
Michael is one of the up-and-coming stars in America, and his article could certainly use improvement. I don't really expect this to get voted for, but the article would definitely be better with just a little more organization, and I'm not exactly sure how that should be approached.
Despite being somewhat of a niche subject, I believe that this article needs some serious cleaning up. I've done the best I can so far to improve this article, however, due to lack of information, I'm having trouble adding more. There's also many disputes as to who was the outright winner of a said competition, or whether it was shared or not. Everyones knowledge may solve this problem!
Inter Milan, i.e. the new Italian champions. This article needs quite a massive cleanup, and much more reference to its early history, especially in the 1960s (the so-called Grande Inter times).
This man was the only manager to take England to a World Cup final.
The article is riddled with PoV and inconsistencies, is badly written and needs someone to take hold of it and produce an article worthy of his achievements.
Poor article for the Super Cup. The tables does not look good. The article should be better for a match between the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup winners.
