The
Films WikiProject Newsletter Volume II, no. 1 - January 2007 | |||
|
The issue of which films are notable enough to be included in Wikipedia and what guidelines should apply has been recently discussed in Village pump, trying to clear out the issue. Additionally Wikipedia:Notability (films) has been changed from inactive to proposal (in development). Discussion or other constructive participation is most welcome. We are currently thinking about creating a "Film Board" and a "Tech Board" for all help related to the management and operation of our project, both in the content areas and the technical ones. Also a "Translation Board" has been proposed to help with film articles from other Wikipedias.
Opened last weekend (1/26):
Opening this weekend (2/2): Opening next weekend (2/9) Other February Releases
If you've just joined or if you haven't already, add your name to the Participants section of Wikipedia:WikiProject Films. You'll get a mention in the next issue of the Newsletter and get it delivered as desired. Also, please include your own promotions and awards in future issues. Don't be shy! Lastly, this is your newsletter and you can be involved in the creation of the next issue (Issue 2 – February 2007). Any and all contributions are welcome. Simply let yourself be known to any of the undersigned, or just start editing!
