Used as {{cite DNB|wstitle= .}} it will link to an existing Wikisource article; it does not have to be used in just this fashion, though. Wikisource pages give original page and volume numbers, and author information via a link. All of these can be added separately here.
The use of this template in line with
WP:PLAGIARISM is basic also for tracking added text. Used as {{DNB|wstitle= .}} it gives access to what the original source says, helping with fact-checking.
These are versions of the above for the second supplement, i.e. Wikisource articles with suffix (DNB12). The further DNB supplements that followed are not public domain text.
