Discussion

  • All depends on the presence or absence of reliable sources for this group. Moreschi Deletion! 11:42, 2 February 2007 (UTC) reply
  • I tried gnews and archive, and the web, and didn't find anything. Hardly decisive though. Angus McLellan (Talk) 23:48, 2 February 2007 (UTC) reply
  • I found this: The google cache of a word doc from a "volunteer center" which lists the volunteer wildfire services as an "emergency service organization who received a certificate for outstanding volunteer service". I quote:
100 volunteers are utilized annually and contribute 7,200 volunteer hours whilst protecting the natural environment as well as private homes and informal settlements throughout the Peninsula. Economic contribution of volunteers to this service is calculated at R882 800 per annum (skilled and unskilled person power).
  • There is also this page that also talks about them, but it's from a car company that provided them with a vehicle. It's not as independant as I'd like it to be, but I don't think the fact that this company gave them a vehicle should disqualify this page a a source. I'll add both links to the article.
