I believe the article should be reviewed for being an "Importance=Top" article because he seems to meet many of the characteristics outlined for a Top importance Chicago subject. However, I must admit, I associate Mr. Stevenson more with Illinois than with Chicago. Thought it should get some consideration. --

He grew up in Central Illinois, went to college at Princeton, and then went to law school in Chicago. He is not really a Top for our project. He is no more important to us than Hillary.--

Agree, hope others will give their input. As I said, I think of him, and maybe others would too, more as an Illinoian, not as a Chicagoan.

Huge swaths (entire paragraphs) of the article are missing citations
1933 to 1948: repetitive use of "In 19XX, ..."
Illinois governor section is underdeveloped with regard to campaign, opponents, policies, planks, controversies including press coverage from the time
Presidential campaigns need to be expanded: use contemporary President FAs (Obama, W., etc.) as a template
"Till Hell Freezes Over" should likely be merged under 1960-1965
Blockquote account of his last moments is obituary-like and should probably be condensed or removed
"Additional facts of note" need to be merged into the rest of the article as this is laregely
trivia
List of other entities named after Stevenson should be collapsed into a cited statement such as "x schools have been named after Stevenson" rather than an incomplete list of non-notable entities.
Perhaps it is time to archive this review too. I think Madcoverboy's review and comments should be copied to the article's Talk page.
