Request on 06:52:57, 30 November 2015 for assistance on AfC submission by Anshuranisingh

I want to change the page title

@ Anshuranisingh: Hello, Tulsi Tanti seems the logical choice for renaming, and so I have moved it to Draft:Tulsi Tanti. /wia  /tlk 13:13, 30 November 2015 (UTC) reply

@ JulianaRuda123: Hello, do you have a specific question about your draft? The draft was declined, correctly in my opinion, for a general lack of solid references demonstrating corporate notability. Take a look at the linked page in that last sentence for some more helpful guidelines on notability of companies. Thanks, /wia  /tlk 13:16, 30 November 2015 (UTC) reply

Hi there

I need a little help with my first article which has been declined. The subject of my article has written 3 books and his photography work is of significant value / interest to those interested in the subject that he photographs.(Musicians)

The references that i have added are mostly related to publication info about said books(inc ISBN numbers), information about a book in which his work has featured and also links to information about exhibitions dedicated to his work.

I have read the articles suggested by the editor who declined my article and i just wanted to ask if i am approaching this (referencing) incorrectly.

Would the following be considered better for references: 1) A review of books written by the subject that were published by a major magazine - e.g. Rolling Stone ( ref to include edition number etc.) 2) A review of the exhibition dedicated to the work of this subject.

Can any of you good folks clarify if this is the way that i should approach the references?

Thanks Jamierobertjames ( talk) 15:11, 30 November 2015 (UTC) reply

@ Jamierobertjames: Hi, thanks for stopping by the Help Desk. It sounds like both sources—both a review of Duffy's photography book, and a review of an exhibition of Duffy's work—would be good references, assuming that they are from reliable sources. Rolling Stone would certainly qualify.
It's okay to make a list of books that Chris Duffy himself has written, as long as you're aware that primary sources alone don't demonstrate notability. You may also have some luck finding more sources here: Find sources:  Google ( books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

I submitted an article John F. Brady (Engineer/Scientist) which was recently accepted by SwisterSister. However, the title is now /Scientist). I suspect that when the word Draft was removed from the title the other components were removed as well. How can I restore or change the title to its correct form? Note I add the (Engineer/Scientist) because there are many John F. Brady's.

Thanks for your help.

@ Rtbonnecaze: Another user has moved the page so its title is correct! You can find it at John F. Brady (engineer/scientist). Thanks, /wia  /tlk 03:00, 1 December 2015 (UTC) reply

I do not know how to make this more credible so that it can be accepted to the encyclopedia. I am wondering if I am supposed to get rid of any sources connected with DrillingCompany.com, since that is the company's site. Is New York Times articles reliable sources? Is there a minimum number of sources I am supposed to include?
