Wellington WikiCon was planned as New Zealand's third Wikimedia conference in 2021. Due to the current and forecast Co-VID Alert Levels, the conference has been postponed to 2022.
Theme: "Wellington: people, places, politics, plants, performing arts"
The aims of the Wellington WikiCon are to:

becoming an incorporated society; agree the forward plan for the next 18 months 2022/2023; edit the user group page with the agreed amendments to the plan
Option A: Otari Wilton Bush. Transport to be provided from VUW or meet at the Otari Visitor Centre at 10am for an intro to Otari Wilton Bush (10 mins) followed by a practical session on "Taking good photos with your digital camera at 10.15am
Option B Wellington Museum TBC (transport to be provided or meet at the Museum at 10am)
Option C Remain at Victoria University for more editing/Unconference content

Some are special offers that may not be available at the time of booking. Attendees travelling by private vehicle are advised to check the availability and cost of parking if staying at a central city hotel/motel. The organisers will be maintaining a mailing list of attendees for the purposes of COVID19 tracing. Victoria University, Otari Wilton Bush and Wellington Museum will have COVID19 app tracer QR codes and sign-in sheets available.
To be announced. We will seek grant funding to cover some of the catering and other costs and keep the conference affordable. Day registration will be available.
