It's an ads!!

  • Keep, although may be in need of NPOV'ing - FrancisTyers 15:58, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • Speedy delete, advertising, external link. - Abrams 5:50, Jun 19, 2005 (UTC)
    • It smelled fishy, and a little check showed this: Abrams' 6 contributions currently all date 18 june 2005. Half of it is adding Casaplanet [1]... And this stuff was proposed by an anon... Guaka 02:10, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
      • And casaplanet doesn't exist... [2] :)
  • Keep. If you think it's an ad, please make it less so... And, "speedy deletion" sounds very ugly to me. Also, please type a bit more why you want to delete this, and why you think it's an ad, so someone else can improve it. And please use the discussion page... Guaka 01:59, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • Keep. It needs improvements, but definitely notable and encyclopedic. The deletion nomination seems to me to have something to do with users Abrams/ 81.53.33.146 effort to promote seemingly similar service " Casaplanet". I'm only not sure if Casaplanet is meant to be serious alternative to HC, or if it is some scam. Anyway, watch for sockpuppets...-- Wikimol12:50, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • Keep. Alright, I've changed my mind. Casaplanet is not as well-known as Hospitality Club... and is quite new. However, I don't think it's fair to use the kind of words as "scam" about something you don't know. Abrams--14:08, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • I notice that Guaka seems to have an interest in Hospitality Club [3], so I'd understand why he wants Casaplanet to be deleted. I made a mistake... I didn't know HC. So let's keep HC of course! as the other Hospitality service websites.
    • Please sign your message.
      • That's funny, "please sign your message" without a sign :)
    • Well, an internet hospitality service unknown to Google, with a web address redirected to another domain "without history", is a bit strange. The actual service is also a bit unusual - you are promised to get access to various contacts etc. When you submit email, you get to a page stating yout email and ip were stored and you'll receive information soon, and assuring you your data are protected (and receive nothing). Several good reasons for doubt. -- Wikimol 18:59, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
      • Well, it seems to be a new website... it's probably why it is not known from Google (Do you know how Google works?). I do not understand what "without history" means? I understand the website is declared at a French organization which intends to protect people, that sounds good to me. However, the website is too new and not notable enough to be mentioned in Wikipedia... Wikimol, your words sounds like slanderer. I am a member of HC and I will register at this other service for sure. -- Felizbrasileiro 19:31, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
        • Sure, register and make an opinion yourself. By "without history" I mean new domain, without history in search engines. The simple explanation "its a new site" could have been simply given by the site proponent(s). I'm also a HC member. If you want to comment on my behaviour in this VfD, maybe it would be better to use my talkpage. -- Wikimol 23:12, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • Keep Feel free to edit the article and make it more Wikipedia-like. BTW, this casaplanet is really worth a look - they simply copied whole text snippets over from HC. Ruthless. And amusing. I will sign up :-) When will this deletion marker be removed again? -- Veit 20:27 23 Jun 2005
  • Keep Remove the deletion marker as soon as possible! Abrams has no argument against HC. Speedy delete is stupid. -- Felizbrasileiro 13:41, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
