User:Nimbley6 (aka.
User:Bennet556) is a recidivist socker, with a fascination for Scottish topics. He/she has several modes of operation - inserting dubious (and badly spelled) sub-headings, inserting images seemingly at random, and removing references to the
United Kingdom from Scottish articles (often, though not always, focussing on {{flagicon}} tags. There have been several prior sock-puppet reports:
2nd,
3rd and
most recent - these have typically stalled under an onslaught on constantly changing dynamic IP addresses. Consequently, on this occasion I sought a short block on
WP:AIV; however it was suggested that I open a report here instead. So here I am! Cheers,

I've added
User:Tomuchtrywanttocome to the above, as just after blocking Spainton, a new account was created that immediately reverted the vandalism carried out by Spainton on
Lorraine Kelly. The placement of that image seems clearly to be vandalism, as it is claimed to be the autor's work, and yet a GM TV logo is seen on the image. So, it is a copy-right infringement.

When it gets this bad, and this obvious, I don't think we need to bother with this whole process. In the future, I think it would be better to report these to
WP:AIV as they pop up, and take a
WP:RBI approach.

This page hasn't been listed on the main SSP page; it's mainly just to provide a central location for Nimbley6 tracking. I agree that
WP:AIV would be good - unfortunately previous attempts with AIV have been unsuccessful: AIV regulars tend to view Nimbley6's edits as not pure vandalism, but nearer to content disputes.
WP:AN/I might be an option, but it seems like overkill. I'm willing to consider all options, though! Cheers,

Added another. Are we still supposed to be adding to this? The current addition magically created an account after I had blocked Nimbley6 suspected sockpuppets or compromised IP accounts for one month for abuse on
Scotland, and then proceeded to carry out some similar edits to those Nimbley has done in the past.
