Rogue Gremlin is a blocked sockpuppet (see Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Rogue Gremlin). I have suspected Aladdin Zane of being another of his sockpuppets for some time, after seeing both editors make some ridiculous edits to Elvis Presley's article, and after looking into both accounts I believe I have found conclusive evidence that this serial sockpuppeteer is continuing.
Rogue Gremlin and Aladdin Zane give the game away by using many of the same, specific, userboxes on both userpages:
The edit history of Waycross, Georgia is more evidence, Rogue Gremlin regularly edited the Famous natives and residents section, until he got banned. Soon after that, Aladdin Zane started editing the article, specifically the Famous natives and residents section.
Rogue Gremlin's only edit to the Okefenokee Swamp article is in the trivia section. Aladdin Zane's only edit to this article is in the trivia section.
Rogue Gremlin was reverting other users' edits in Booker Huffman until he was banned. Soon after, Aladdin Zane starts reverting other users' edits in the article.
The edit history of Burt Reynolds is another giveaway, this sockpuppeteer has believed for a long time that he owns the Burt Reynolds article (just look at the talk page and the frequent reverting of other editors' good faith edits, Rogue Gremlin was actually blocked for edit warring here). They have both edited many other articles together.
What are the chances of two American Indian-German-Irish-English editors, both living in Georgia, favorite color is purple, both edit Okefenokee Swamp, Booker Huffman, Burt Reynolds, Elvis Presley, etc, etc? This is about as conclusive as it gets, unless Aladdin Zane added a banner to his userpage saying "I am a sockpuppet of Rogue Gremlin". That would be more conclusive. Found two other socks, already blocked while checking this. Rather convincing evidence, goes way beyond the chance level. Aladdin Zane is indef blocked and Rogue Gremlin's is extended from 3 months (already extended once) to indef for repeated block evasion and socking. — Rlevse • Talk • 16:45, 11 November 2007 (UTC) reply
