Nightmareishere ( talk) 17:05, 2 July 2008 (UTC) COMMENTS ON WHY I SUSPECT SOCKPUPPETRY: I believe that Michael Aston, the lead singer of one of the two current Gene Loves Jezebels, is logging in and creating sock puppets all over the Gene Loves Jezebel article. Some of his sock puppets include Bennysara, Sexydead and Foaming, at least one of which, Foaming, is on the verge of being banned from editing due to disruptive edits, and another of which, Sexydead, should have been -- because with it he made similar disruptive edits, including bizarre edits referencing Sesame Street characters making out. Is there a way to trace these names back to Mr. Aston's IP address or something, and stop him from hijacking and vandalizing this article? Otherwise, he can just login everyday and create a new sock puppet with a new name. Based on an edit I saw on May 13 2008, I believe his IP address to be 75.56.246.234. This is either his IP address or at the very least, the IP address of one of his accomplices. My belief that these are all Michael Aston comes from the similar unique wording and ways of phrasing things that all have in common -- all of which are also similar to unique wording and ways of phrasing things that can be rpovably attributed to Mr. Aston from comments made on his own MySpace page, on one of the Gene Loves Jezebel website's message board, etc. Thank you.
