Suspected sockpuppets

Although I put down Dugro as the sockmaster due to it being the account with the oldest edits, it is the Zangyapsong account whose actions connect these acounts. Zangyapsong created the personal user pages for Throcktarr and Dugro, [1], [2], neither of whom commented on it. In a similar fashion, Zangyapsong made an edit to Votoro's user page [3], and a month later Votoro expanded their user page without acknowledging Zangyapsong’s edit [4]. Zangyapsong has also made a user page for Xmotox, a user who hasn't edited since 2009: [5]. All four accounts have made a number of edits to BDSM related pages, often strange or disruptive, and frequently to the same pages as each other; as a sample: [6], [7], [8], [9]. A final point, albeit minor, is that Zangyapsong recently updated their user page with a description of their ten year "journey" on Wikipedia [10], and in doing so describes things which if true, couldn't have been done under their account, as it was created in February 2020. • CheckUser requested and endorsed by clerk - Zangyapsong ‎editing Votro and Dugro's user pages is certainly suspicious, backed up by the common interactions on the BSDM articles. I think that's enough to CU those three. There's also the timing aspect; Durgo created Draft:Anal torture (which I'm not even going to look at) in February after being relatively inactive. The other accounts got created soon after that.
Less clear where Throcktarr fits in. I also note that Zangyapsong edited Xmotox, but that doesn't look like the same pattern. It occurs to me that this might be fake socking (joe job?) for abuse purposes, hence the CU request to check that out. -- RoySmith (talk) 02:14, 13 October 2020 (UTC) reply
  •  Confirmed Votoro & Zangyapsong, Dugro Red X Unrelated though both sides are editing while logged out.  Stale Throcktarr. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 12:31, 15 October 2020 (UTC) reply
  •  Blocked and tagged Zangyapsong and Votro, renamed case to Zangyapsong as oldest sock. For a first offence, the master sometimes gets a short block, but given the intentional obfuscation here (claiming 10 years tenure on their user page) and disruptive editing of other user's user pages, the AGF well has run dry. Drogo has several years editing history, so I'm going to assume they're legitimate. I did, however, drop uw-login on their talk page. Still unclear what the story is with Throcktarr, but they haven't edited in 4 months, so not much point pursuing that further at the current time. -- RoySmith (talk) 13:34, 15 October 2020 (UTC) reply
