I became curious about Viibird when they left a one-word reply to a comment by Zahida2013 at
Talk:Ancient Egyptian race controversy: concur
[1]. The reply appeared 2 minutes after Zahida2013's original comment
[2]. Prior to this, Viibird hadn't made a single edit in 9 years! Further, both accounts were created within one month of one another in July 2013.
Both users identify as medical doctors with a specialty in epidemiology (Zahida2013: I am a physician epidemiologist with 20 years of study of DNA science
[3] versus Viibird: I have MD and MPH degrees and specialty in community medicine/epidemiological surveillance
[4]). Both accounts also appear to have a shaky grasp of English grammar and capitalization (compare e.g. Zahida2013
[5] versus Viibird
[6]). Though this last point is far from dispositive, there is certainly no stylistic evidence that they are not the same person. And everything else points toward the use of two accounts to create the illusion of support.
