Note above listing is only the most recently blocked socks. Good Olfactory ( talk · contribs) and I have been working on blocking Tiramisoo socks for a long time, mostly by using the duck test. We have been aware of him since 2009: 1st ANI report, 2nd ANI report, 3rd ANI report. At that time CheckUser results showed that Tiramisoo ( talk · contribs) = GodivaCake ( talk · contribs) = OregonD00d ( talk · contribs)
User has a habit of creating articles on neologisms, creating bad categories (also here), and editing articles about Cascadia, the Pacific Northwest, decades (2010s, etc.), music of decades, and generational articles (Generation Y, etc.). He has generally been uncommunicative and/or doesn't quite get it.
OregonD00d's talk page shows a variety of the sorts of problems he creates. Mostly the problem is his habit of adding unsourced material, often in promotion of the concept of Cascadia or his ideas about music or generational differences, or adding information to geographic articles giving undue weight to regions or areas he would like to promote. It seems fairly innocuous, but cleaning up after him is time consuming, especially cleaning up after the bad cats and taking articles on neologisms to AfD. Although his editing patterns are so obvious that it is easier to catch his block evasion and clean up after him, I'd like to find and block any sleeper socks so I can spend time on other things. If this is considered a fishing expedition please advise if there is another way to handle this. Thank you. Valfontis ( talk) 22:32, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Can I please get a checkuser on this account? It is new account jumping right into Tiramisoo's favorite topic Cascadia (independence movement), and adding large swaths of information using correct wikimarkup (unusual for a new user), creating fairly useless redirects, adding unneeded cats, etc. Username might be a clue as well. There are not many edits yet, and this account sets off my duckdar (I've successfully ID'd several socks without CU help), but let me know if you need diffs. Thanks. I've blocked several of Tiramisoo's socks without investigation, per WP:DUCK. I'd like to request an investigation and CU at this time just to be sure, as they are not as prolific as they used to be and I've not been editing as much and the edits are less obvious.
Overlaps in behavior between Thevideodrome and Tiramisoo include an interest in "decades" related topics and editing articles about individual years, an interest in Oregon-related topics, including this odd bit of vandalism, which after several weeks of live-and-let-live on my part towards this suspected sock, made me decide to dig deeper and report them. Other points of intersection include creating articles on neologisms and individual given names, an interest in linguistics, which overlaps with a predilection for creating questionable categories such as Category:Political linguistics, making unsourced edits about climate, [1] [2], and other unsourced assertions, an interest in synthpop including the band Owl City, and interest in forests, and Cascadia.
Though the user's edits seem to have improved over the years since 2009, and thus are not particularly abusive, but the vandalism is worrisome, as are the reasonable-sounding unsourced edits that may take more time to investigate and clean up. Being an unrepentant sockpuppeteer is the biggest problem. If this user was mentored they might eventually become a decent contributor, if they were willing to engage with the community. (There are NO user talkpage edits). The user's talk page shows the variety of usual warnings given to Tiramisoo socks, including deleted articles and categories such as Megabite Pizza (a Canadian pizza chain--the user also has an interest in Canada) and Category:Transhumanist films. One article Commercialization of the Internet survived AfD but is poorly sourced.
In the past the user has had sleeper accounts lined up to continue socking, so a check for sleepers would be welcome. Investigation archive is here, and here are the lists of suspected and confirmed sockpuppets. Let me know if you need more Tiramisoo or their sock's diffs side by side with the ones provided. I don't really have enough to go on with Konlyn--too few edits and it's not my topic area. I'll defer to your judgement. The name doesn't seem to fit the pattern either. Valfontis ( talk) 02:22, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
