Three of this user's accounts (Rock5410, Mymac007, and Jeet698) have been indef blocked, but his response to blocking has been to create new accounts. He's been to ANI previously for various issues. Today he requested a page move and referred to himself in the third person, partly because he's suggesting a move that reverts a change he did himself a few months ago.
For Loop and Sita Manu are the currently active accounts. Both are used for editing articles related to higher education and media in India. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Master of Science in Information Technology (the latter under MikeDogma) have also both been edited by this user. The same distinct language patterns are used in edit summaries ("tag fixation," "little tweaks done").
Numerous IP addresses have been used too, but he seems to switch several times a day so significant rangeblocks would be required. I'm not sure if that's the route you want to go. Previously blocked ranges for this user are:
- 122.161.164.0/23
- 122.163.3.0/24
- 122.161.62.0/23
- 122.163.79.0/24
I did follow up with the admin who did the rangeblocks a few weeks ago, but he has been to busy to get back to it. For the most part, he had been only using one active account, so I figured it could wait at the time. I've tried to work with this for months, but I'm tired of the games. Additional info: Sorry, I completely forgot to include this earlier. When he created the Sita manu account, he actually admitted he was the same person: "Hello, I Rock5410 as new name Sita_manu..." After having his other accounts blocked on October 19, this user created User:X0X9 on October 26. I noticed the same pattern of edits (articles related to education in India, a few degrees like BSIT and MBA, plus a series of edits in the infoboxes of companies that have been one of his current projects. He admits that he's the same user on his user page: "Real name - Rock5410. Joined Wikipedia in 2009 (started editing in 2008)." You can also see our discussion on his talk page. He clearly has been under the operating assumption that the appropriate response to a block is to create a new account. He's still using IP addresses, which he probably will continue to do, but I'm not sure what you can do about that since he changes IPs twice a day. Blocking the username will at least prevent him from disruptive moves and redirects.
