There's also the possibility that this might be linked to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Nikhil Srivastava, a recent sock కాయస్థ శిరోమణి ( talk · contribs) was blocked by Bishonen and Girth Summit had also run a check (nothing else unearthed then). — Spaceman Spiff 11:58, 26 August 2022 (UTC) reply

Making the exact same source request at WP:RX, please compare [2] (Blueicecube's last edit) and [3] (Blackspoon45's third edit ever). Suspected sockpuppets

1) Fringe source added by Nobita456 in order to glorify the Baidya caste, a; same Baidya related POV being pushed by apparently new user Loudsheer by undoing a IP user's edit without mentioning any edit summary, b; removal of alternate majority view (added citing a high quality source as per NPOV) simply in order to keep the fringe source content as the only view & Baidya POV intact added by Nobita456, c; immediate talk page response providing page number and quote from the fringe source added by Nobita456 in proper talk page quote format, seems to be hardly possible for a new user like Loudsheer, d.

2) Immediate creation of user page once the user is active, User:Loudsheer with almost no substantial content, possibly in order to give the impression that they are a pro, a technique adopted by Nobita456 and all their socks namely User:Nobita456, User:Blackspoon45, User:কবির চৌধুরী ১১, User:Sigmaron, etc. Ekdalian ( talk) 08:39, 16 May 2023 (UTC) reply

Suspected sockpuppets

New account at Baidya, Nobita456 and their socks' old haunt, suggesting addition of the same quote from the same book as the master has previously proposed. Some other language overlap with Nobita456 (eg compare [4] and [5]). Not sure if this is a sock/meat situation or if its just that these quotes are floating around on some Baidya caste forums or whatsapp groups.

I completely agree with Abecedare in this regard! The user is showing the same level of desperation like Nobita & their socks, as evident from recent discussion at Talk:Baidya. Also notice the substantial similarity in the text and references between the versions of Blueicecube (a confirmed sock) and the new user [6], especially note the removal of same sources ("Russel", etc) citing the obscure essay WP:RAJ, which new users are unlikely to know [7] [8] [9] [10] [11]. I completely agree; especially the same editing pattern as Blueicecube in the article on Ambashtha. Also, the inclusion of Bengal in the article on Karan Kayastha is worth noting, since Nobita456 wanted to add these information in the article on Bengali Kayastha but failed to achieve consensus! @ Dreamy Jazz and Ekdalian: While the SPI is closed, one thing struck my mind after seeing their "retort", I mean curses, which is a typical behavior of this sockfarm after getting blocked or inquired. 1) Account created right after the latest sock User:JudeB5 was blocked. 2) Creating their user page immediately after account creation with no meaningful content like most of the socks of Nobita456. 3) Highly active on Talk:Bengali Kayastha with the same objective as that of Nobita456, i.e. undermine the caste and promote their ancient rival caste Baidya. 4) Jumping into caste articles straightaway after account creation, that too the same old Bengali Kayastha. 5) Conversations clearly show they are not a new user, using terms like WP:FRINGE, the diffs are as follows: 1 by Nobita456, amd 2, 3 by the suspected sock regarding the same source and same statements attributed to the source. 6) Behavioral similarities like active on Wikipedia for responses all the time. My comment: 1) Well I think thousand of new users create account on wiki daily. 2) This was the only option to describe yourself on wiki, Wiki itself asked me to create that page when I clicked on my name. 3) So you mean my objections were invalid? Please see the edit history of Bengali Kayastha page, right now Ekdalian is edit warring with three different users for his POV pushing. Are they also my accounts? 4) Well I am an Indian I have interest in castes like majority of Indians including you. 5) You yourself introduced me with WP:RS. And thanks to the simplicity of wikipedia it was not too much hard for me to understand. Admin Abecedare also helped me to understand the wiki rules. 6) Well I am free right now, I just cant accept the fact that some peoples on wiki creating their own fake history using some fringe racial race even in 21st century.

In conclusion I would say if I am not mistaken there is a wiki rule that you cant create two or more acoounts. I exposed some POV pushing of Ekdalian and I think for that Ekdalian made connection with some admins(checked his contributions) but did not get any benefit from them before making this case.

  • This account, as with JudeB5, is being used through proxies, so the CU data isn't conclusive. However, they are using the same sorts of proxies in the same sorts of ways, which is suggestive, and the behaviour is enough for me to be confident. Blocked and tagged.
