Same falsification of charts positions to "#1" [1] [2]; editing the same articles (see [3]); maybe its too old to CU, but looking for sleepers. (CC) Tbhotch ™ 21:12, 1 December 2021 (UTC)

I wanted to file this report yesterday, but it all happened at the end of my day and I was too tired. My investigation was triggered by Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Reporting Sysevnig and Chronicdial92, which reported two of the above listed accounts as socks. After looking at various related articles and seeing the obvious similarities in behavior and the fact that all of the accounts have been created relatively recently, I determined that three more unblocked accounts were socks and that Bcijbbw, who had been blocked for vandalism, was part of the same group. I therefore blocked the unblocked accounts and tagged all.
Because of the number of socks, though, and the number of related articles that I didn't check, I felt it would be better to file this report to confirm the blocks technically and to find out if there are accounts I failed to find; thus, I'm requesting CU. Also, because of the recent "developments" at SPI, I didn't want the clerks and checkusers to be bored. Bbb23 ( talk) 12:48, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

Same old nonsense (but instead of merely changing the charts to #1, this person is now copy-pasting charts from actually successful artists. [4] v. [5]) Considering that Innocreade ( talk · contribs) was another hit-and-run account, I'm looking for sleepers. (CC) Tbhotch ™ 21:13, 12 March 2022 (UTC)

I actually don't know who the sockpuppeteer of this group is ... I'll simply go by which one is the earliest. All of them have been vandalizing a number of list articles in the Billboard 200 number-one albums series. In List of Billboard 200 number-one albums of 2017 [6] [7] [8], List of Billboard 200 number-one albums of 2012 [9] [10] [11], List of Billboard 200 number-one albums of 2016 [12] [13] [14], and List of Billboard 200 number-one albums of 2011 [15] [16]. (I will note that user Lofkbfbjf is indefinitely blocked, and if any of the more recently created accounts can be tied to that blocked user, then they are evading the block.) Adding User:Hytgbju to this report, after their vandalism at List of Billboard 200 number-one albums of 2016 [17] [18] and List of Billboard 200 number-one albums of 2017 [19] [20]. MPFitz1968 ( talk) 06:09, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

Massive additions to the article about the Notorious B.I.G. album Life After Death, particularly with incorrect chart and certifications data ... and from a cursory look at the sources provided, they don't match up with the article's subject (appears they are using sources about different albums/artists).

There are probably one or two other users, at least, that have vandalized the article similarly in recent weeks. MPFitz1968 ( talk) 17:31, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
