- Jspeed1310 and his puppet account Alphama and his 2 Vietnamese IPs both attempted to eliminate the Người Bắc Kỳ article 5 times within a 8-hour period, on Dec.7.2013. When I reverted it because his edit reason was invalid, Jspeed redid his article blanking at UTC 8:34. Deletion requests were denied by Jni, concluding that "I declined to speedily delete this. This is because there is non-trivial editing history and the debate seems to be about the content of the article, or whether or not it should be a redirect pointing somewhere, and discussion already involves arguments that go way beyond what is typical for CSDs. The request also did not match any of the CSD criterias. Further blanking of this article/redirect should be considered as vandalism and reverted" at 9:41, Dec.7.
- Jspeed also requested speedy deletion of the Dân Bắc Kỳ article within this 8-hour period (article was recently deleted by user Amatulic, 5 hours before this SPI was filed).
- Jspeed has a long-running vendetta against the and Dân Bắc Kỳ and Người Bắc Kỳ articles, as he tried to blank the Dan Bac Ky article numerous times (~7 times) and replace with redirect to Vietnamese people article, each time with no edit summary whatsoever, starting from January 2013 till yesterday. When he found Nguoi Bac Ky, he started blanking and redirecting that article as well. (I can no longer retrieve the Dân Bắc Kỳ's edit history because it's deleted)
- It is obvious that Alphama and the 2 IPs are from Jspeed, as they all engage in the same activity (speedy-deleting the 2 articles) at the same time, exactly matching the timing of Jspeed's article blanking campaign, all with the intent of eliminating those 2 articles. Vantungk35 article-blanked and vandalized Dan Bac Ky article late last month, blanking and vandalized by inserting this following text "dân nam kỳ chỉ biết phá hoại, gái nam kỳ chỉ biết làm đĩ nuôi chồng" (translated: Southern Vietnamese people only know how to vandalize all the time, southern Vietnamese women only know to be whores and care for their husbands")(I posted that quote on user Vsmith's talk page yesterday, when I still had access to the Dan Bac Ky article diff history, and reference to the vandalism can be found here).
- The IPs and 3 useraccounts all come from the same country, same person. Jspeed is a resident of Hanoi, ( as declared on his Vietnamese wiki user page "Thành viên này sống tại thủ đô Hà Nội" = "This user lives in the capital Hanoi"). IPs are from Vietnam. The accounts Alphama and Jspeed both edit on many Vietnam-related articles. The 3 useraccounts and 2 IPs lack edit summaries on the majority of their edits due to their low proficiency in using the English language, as admitted by Jspeed when he says "sorry, my english is bad" on here at the last sentence.
- I already confronted Jspeed about his sockpuppetry here, and he has never denied or contested this.
- More background info can be found here if needed. If Checkuser is needed to find more relationships between the 3 useraccounts and 2 IPs, please feel free to do so. However i must warn, the IPs used by all 5 are likely proxies - no one can be in Saigon in 1 hour then magically be in Hanoi the next hour.
- EDIT: As well, watch if Jspeed and Alphama change/manipulate their IPs, they're probably doing it based on their conversations on Viwiki.

- Hi there, admin can check freely my account. I am a reputed member in Vietnamese Wikipedia project with more than +30.000 edits and +100.000 edits by using bot (AlphamaBot). Furthermore, currently I do not live in Vietnam. I did revert the redirects of two articles ( Dan Bac Ky and Dân Bắc Kỳ) because they are not correct simply. The two redirects just mention to the North of Vietnam not all Vietnamese people. You can check the content of that article. - The point of the article is to provide a summary of contemporary northern Vietnamese history, geography, terminology (3 of them) and account for migrations of northern Vietnamese to other parts of the country, it is not political piece. The article was created in a no more different manner as articles like
North China, or
Northern Germany or
Southern Egypt, and is in line with corresponding Vietnamese article, Bắc Kỳ. As for the migrations and "New Economic Zones", they are true and actual historical events, and are supported by well-accepted sources that are used elsewhere on Vietnam history articles on English wiki, and it is a very short English version of the Viet version article "Xây dựng các vùng kinh tế mới". As for the, rather unfortunate, use by some southern Vietnamese of using the term "Bac Ky" derogatorially, yes it's unfortunate, but it is a reality and the article simply states that, just as how
Kraut or
Jap or
Chink are used by some Western lowlifes to refer to German, Japanese and Chinese people in a derogatory manner. And, the article never says or implies that northern Vietnamese are a "different ethnicity", which is absolutely wrong. To blame that the article implies that, following that kind of logic, the many other regional articles in wiki, like the 3 exampled above, might as well be accused of making northern Germans, or northern Han Chinese, or southern Egyptians as "separate ethnicities".

did you read my comment, this article, you may keep, but you can't use it when you say about northern vietnamese (( 1, 2, 3)). itself is just a term used by southern vietnamese like jap, Kraut or Chink used by western. it can't replace for Japanese people, Chinese people or northern vietnamese people.btw, i don't see much of difference between northern, central, southern vietnamese to having multiple articles. - Hi there, admin can check freely my account. I am a reputed member in Vietnamese Wikipedia project with more than +30.000 edits and +100.000 edits by using bot (AlphamaBot). Furthermore, currently I do not live in Vietnam. I did revert the redirects of two articles ( Dan Bac Ky and Dân Bắc Kỳ) because they are not correct simply. The two redirects just mention to the North of Vietnam not all Vietnamese people. You can check the content of that article. - The point of the article is to provide a summary of contemporary northern Vietnamese history, geography, terminology (3 of them) and account for migrations of northern Vietnamese to other parts of the country, it is not political piece. The article was created in a no more different manner as articles like
North China, or
Northern Germany or
Southern Egypt, and is in line with corresponding Vietnamese article, Bắc Kỳ. As for the migrations and "New Economic Zones", they are true and actual historical events, and are supported by well-accepted sources that are used elsewhere on Vietnam history articles on English wiki, and it is a very short English version of the Viet version article "Xây dựng các vùng kinh tế mới". As for the, rather unfortunate, use by some southern Vietnamese of using the term "Bac Ky" derogatorially, yes it's unfortunate, but it is a reality and the article simply states that, just as how
Kraut or
Jap or
Chink are used by some Western lowlifes to refer to German, Japanese and Chinese people in a derogatory manner. And, the article never says or implies that northern Vietnamese are a "different ethnicity", which is absolutely wrong. To blame that the article implies that, following that kind of logic, the many other regional articles in wiki, like the 3 exampled above, might as well be accused of making northern Germans, or northern Han Chinese, or southern Egyptians as "separate ethnicities".

When I reverted it because his edit reason was invalid, Jspeed redid his article blanking at UTC 8:34. Then, he logged out and used IP 113.172.224.235 (from Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam) to speedy delete the article at 10:25. After, Jspeed used Hanoi IP 113.22.28.205 to make another speedy delete at 11:30. He used his puppet account Alphama to issue yet another speedy delete at 13:12. Deletion requests were denied by Jni, concluding that "I declined to speedily delete this. This is because there is non-trivial editing history and the debate seems to be about the content of the article, or whether or not it should be a redirect pointing somewhere, and discussion already involves arguments that go way beyond what is typical for CSDs. The request also did not match any of the CSD criterias. Further blanking of this article/redirect should be considered as vandalism and reverted" at 9:41, Dec.7.
- Jspeed also requested speedy deletion of the Dân Bắc Kỳ article within this 8-hour period (article was recently deleted by user Amatulic, 5 hours before this SPI was filed).
- Jspeed has a long-running vendetta against the and Dân Bắc Kỳ and Người Bắc Kỳ articles, as he tried to blank the Dan Bac Ky article numerous times (~7 times) and replace with redirect to Vietnamese people article, each time with no edit summary whatsoever, starting from January 2013 till yesterday. When he found Nguoi Bac Ky, he started blanking and redirecting that article as well. (I can no longer retrieve the Dân Bắc Kỳ's edit history because it's deleted)
- It is obvious that Alphama and the 2 IPs are from Jspeed, as they all engage in the same activity (speedy-deleting the 2 articles) at the same time, exactly matching the timing of Jspeed's article blanking campaign, all with the intent of eliminating those 2 articles. Vantungk35 article-blanked and vandalized Dan Bac Ky article late last month, blanking and vandalized by inserting this following text "dân nam kỳ chỉ biết phá hoại, gái nam kỳ chỉ biết làm đĩ nuôi chồng" (translated: Southern Vietnamese people only know how to vandalize all the time, southern Vietnamese women only know to be whores and care for their husbands")(I posted that quote on user Vsmith's talk page yesterday, when I still had access to the Dan Bac Ky article diff history, and reference to the vandalism can be found here).
- The IPs and 3 useraccounts all come from the same country, same person. Jspeed is a resident of Hanoi, ( as declared on his Vietnamese wiki user page "Thành viên này sống tại thủ đô Hà Nội" = "This user lives in the capital Hanoi"). IPs are from Vietnam. The accounts Alphama and Jspeed both edit on many Vietnam-related articles. The 3 useraccounts and 2 IPs lack edit summaries on the majority of their edits due to their low proficiency in using the English language, as admitted by Jspeed when he says "sorry, my english is bad" on here at the last sentence.
- I already confronted Jspeed about his sockpuppetry here, and he has never denied or contested this.
- More background info can be found here if needed. If Checkuser is needed to find more relationships between the 3 useraccounts and 2 IPs, please feel free to do so. However i must warn, the IPs used by all 5 are likely proxies - no one can be in Saigon in 1 hour then magically be in Hanoi the next hour.
- EDIT: As well, watch if Jspeed and Alphama change/manipulate their IPs, they're probably doing it based on their conversations on Viwiki.
