Evidence submitted by Geoff B

Abusive edit summaries, personal attacks, insults, vandalism, edit warring and disruptive editing. IP User:97.106.45.44 was blocked for repeated vandalism, user MarkAldred turned up shortly after, claiming on my talk page Thanks but you didn't block me at all. All you did was block one measly IP address. Better luck next time Geoff. ;). IP 97.106.43.95 was blocked, user John Ramirez turned up immediately afterwards and resumed editing in the same way. User swaps between multiple IP addresses and accounts, has done so in the past, does so currently and will continue to do so. Just noticed JohnRamirez and MarkAldred were created within seven minutes of each other on May 14, though JohnRamirez was not used until today. Geoff B ( talk) 21:57, 18 May 2009 (UTC) reply

Clerk declined CU is not necessary here. There is plenty of evidence for a block without it. — Jake Wartenberg 23:47, 18 May 2009 (UTC) reply

Conclusions
This case has been marked as closed. It has been archived automatically.
  • Behavioural evidence and similarity of edit summaries alone is enough to warrant a WP:DUCK block. Also MarkAldred and JohnRamirez were created at nearly exactly the same time, giving extra weight to these findings. Nothing more we can do here.
  • As a further note, I hardblocked the /21 range for two weeks. That should be deter his activities. PeterSymonds ( talk) 00:05, 19 May 2009 (UTC) reply

Please see the previous case, which I believe to be this user.

An on Resident Evil 4, which is identical in purpose to an made to Characters in Resident Evil 4, by 97.106.43.72. After that, the RE4 edit was picked up by 97.106.48.128. The Miyahon account was created some time ago but not used up until now, which fits with this user's habit of creating multiple accounts and not using them until needed. No talk page or user page content, which also matches past accounts.

I'm NOT Miyahon. Check my IP address and compare with Miyahon's. I just agree with he/she that there are multiple merchants.

Dodging a block, using a user/IP combo to dodge 3RR. Geoff B ( talk) 14:25, 15 June 2009 (UTC) reply

  •  Clerk declined due to lack of evidence suggesting a link between these accounts. If you can provide more information, please note on this page that you would like to re-request a CU and a clerk will make a new determination. Thanks, Nathan T 17:38, 16 June 2009 (UTC) reply

70.127.202.77 / NewsBot01 back as 98.221.196.38, evading indefinite block for edit warring and personal attacks. Duck test: Edits to the same groups of articles (e.g. Splinter Cell), keeps asking whether I'm German ( [1], [2]). User is persistent in his usage of whole ranges of IPs to evade blocks, so I am not sure CheckUser would be appropriate or help. Prime Blue ( talk) 21:42, 28 February 2011 (UTC) reply
