  • Behavioral evaluation:
    • 2A00 geolocates to Suffolk, England. Clark is from London, but I couldn't find ties to Suffolk. The timeline with the 2603 edits does allow for a trip to Suffolk, but the thing is, while the IP's edits are consistent with someone removing content negatively reflecting on Clark, they're also consistent with just a regular blanking vandal. Furthermore, across Clark's last 500 contribs, he has not once used the word "fixed" or "content" in an edit summary, and generally seems to not use wiki-jargon like that. (He is almost 90.) Conclusion: Probably not Clark. At the very least, inconclusive.
    • 2603 geolocates to L.A., where Clark lives according to his Twitter. There's prior activity elsewhere on the /64, with Clark tie-ins going back to at least this March edit to a play he was in. In its second-most-recent edit, to a topic area Clark has an interest in (aviation), 2603 changes a "whilst" to a "while". This has been a cause of Clark's in the past [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]. Based on location, interests, the "developed" edit-warring, and the "whilst" crusade, I am convinced that 2603 is Johnclarknew editing while logged-out.
  • I will assume good faith that the logged-out editing as 2603 was accidental. However, that would still mean that Clark has edit-warred to restore material favorable to himself. I think it's in everyone's best interest if Clark no longer directly edits his article, Redgrave's, or Shakespeare for My Father's, and so will partially block him from them, as well as warn him for editing logged-out.
