• The mere fact of vandalising the same article is not sufficient grounds to suspect sockpuppetry: many articles attract frequent vandalism. However, the article Karl Kruszelnicki has recently been subject to vandalism from a number of single-purpose vandalism only accounts and IP addresses, in a way that looks like a coordinated attack by many different people. The fact that there has been such activity on an otherwise infrequently edited article, where there is no significant news mentions or what have you to actually instigate such attacks would suggest that this is a WP:DUCK. These accounts and IP have been persistently vandalising Karl Kruszelnicki ( | talk | history | links | watch | logs). All accounts are VOA's, targeting only the Karl Kruszelnicki page. The article was protected until the 15th, during which time the socks targeted the talk page. The protection has since been lifted, and the socks have moved back to vandalising the article. A couple of accounts are banned, but it hasn't stopped the vandalism. It's a duck if ever I saw/heard one. ˜ danjel [  talk |  contribs ] 02:58, 18 November 2012 (UTC) reply
