See this thread at the ANI archives. User:PM734's contributions are nearly identical to those of the banned user. I'm requesting a checkuser because I'm afraid, at this point, that there may be other socks out there inserting misinformation into articles. I think it might also be a good idea to salt 2011 Junior Olympic Games and 2011 Summer Junior Olympics, to discourage further article creation; I don't see a legitimate event that would require either title. Diogomauricio3 ( talk · contribs) has been creating socks for the making hoax articles and edits in the userspace and mainspace for a while, and appears to have also been doing the same thing on the Portuguese Wikipedia. While it is obvious that these accounts are socks, and I have already blocked all four, having to keep constantly deleting hoax articles and blocking offending account is becoming a burden, and hence I think it is appropriate that a checkuser is carried out to block the underlying IPs if possible. Please note previous investigations on this user at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/EL9833/Archive and on meta. CT Cooper · talk 18:45, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Confirmed plus:
Rangeblocks will not be possible on this, to say the least. Moreover, this is a cross-wiki abuser, disrupting mainly the Portugese Wikipedia as well as few others. – MuZemike 06:53, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
There are some notable similarities between this group of accounts and the socks of Diogomauricio3, and I think a check of these against the most recent confirmed socks would be beneficial, though due to some oddities I don't think this is a WP:DUCK case. The accounts activity on pl.wiki rather than pt.wiki was the main reason I requested a checkuser, as the behaviour was otherwise very similar, though this could just be a coincidence. The user's garden of fake articles will still have to dealt with; I will approach the user, and if no response, I will be going to MfD. CT Cooper · talk 17:45, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

While these two named accounts are a match to each other, they are
Unrelated to previous accounts in the archive. I also note the lack of disruption on pt.wiki, which seemed to be characteristic of previous socks.

Obvious similarity in usernames, both accounts committing same edits to same articles. Alan the Roving Ambassador (User:N5iln) ( talk) 17:33, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

The user in question has been creating a bunch of articles with titles like 1988 Summer Junior Olympics, and then removing the hoax tags without comment. I've seen the MO before, about a year ago - User:PM734 did the same thing, and was blocked for it. He was a sock, too, as I recall, though I don't know whose. I've seen a bunch of these articles show up on newpage patrol over the past few days, and I think there were other editors involved, hence the request for checkuser.
NB: I didn't say anything on his talk page. If he's who I think he is, it won't do any good, and the number of hoax articles is so large that I'm working on damage control. Ser Amantio di Nicolao Che dicono a Signa? Lo dicono a Signa. 23:00, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

Same habit of adding fictional details about future Olympics, especially Youth Olympics. Compare [1] with [2]/ [3]. As I argued here, this user is also Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/FallandSpringOlympics and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mauricio80, so those cases should be merged here. This edit ties the IP to FallandSpringOlympics via this edit. Comparing this with this; and this with this connects both Mauricio80 and FallandSpringOlympics to 186.31.33.188.
