Vision Thing

  • Code letter: B

I strongly suspect that User:Vision Thing is a sockpuppet of User:Anarcho-capitalism, who, in turn, was a sockpuppet of User:Billy Ego. Billy Ego is banned for one year (see Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Billy Ego-Sandstein).

Vision Thing has reposted the same screed that Anarcho-capitalism had on his user page. [1] [2]. Like Anarcho-capitalism, he has concentrated specifically on articles related to capitalism and market processes, and edits these articles from a strong libertarian POV. Like Anarcho-capitalism, he almost always uses all lowercase in his edit summaries. (This was one of the things that also made me suspect this string of users was a reincarnation of banned User:RJII.) Vision Thing seemed to have an interest in Anarcho-capitalism's user page [3] even before reposting it. Finally, like RJII and Anarcho-capitalism, he seems to focus specifically on User:Infinity0 as an enemy / a target for reverts (see, e.g., [4]). Vision Thing's very first edit [5] was to put the {{ weasel}} template on an article, which is somewhat unusual for new users and very suspicious when combined with the rest of the factors involved. Since Billy Ego is banned for one year, I'd like to see if this is a reincarnation of the same disruptive user or users. Crotalus horridus ( TALKCONTRIBS) 18:34, 15 April 2007 (UTC) reply

Red X Unrelated. Billy and A-c are the same, but you knew that; however, Vision Thing is not even hemispherically related. -- jpgordon ∇∆∇∆ 15:53, 16 April 2007 (UTC) reply
