Qst

Qst ( talk · contribs) is a community banned sockpuppeteer. However I have been in contact with him off-Wikipedia and he asserts that many of the above accounts, currently in Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Qst, do not belong to him (and perhaps belong to Molag Bal, a community banned vandal whom Qst was often considered to very close to). A checkuser may change the community's opinion of Qst and perhaps even allow him to appeal his ban. ~ Riana 14:47, 15 August 2007 (UTC) reply

  • Comment: I believe both Molag Bal and Qst (as do I) have been using the BT IP pool. Certainly the IPs listed above seem to be all BT. Can you checkuser fellas even get a reliable geographic location out of that? For months my IP showed up as being in Preston, and I'm a Londoner. Moreschi Talk 14:54, 15 August 2007 (UTC) reply
That's the problem with UK IPs - mine (Halifax) sometimes says I'm somewhere near a random town Leicester. Will ( talk) 13:41, 17 August 2007 (UTC) reply
Inconclusive. However, it seems at least  Possible that the 84.x.x.x ones are him, and it seems  Unlikely that the accounts and the 81.x.x.x ones are him. -- Deskana (banana) 17:20, 18 August 2007 (UTC) reply
Thank you. ~ Riana 00:58, 19 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Qst

Qst, a community banned user (see discussion), seems to have created yet another account. User:Rännilar was created on August 8, the day before he was banned. Rännilar's editing pattern is the same as Qst's and his other accounts'. His third edit was installing TW and his first day of active editing was dedicated to reporting usernames to UAA, the same as his other socks. A thread at ANI was started regarding this user, and Moreschi has blocked the user. -- Boricua e ddie 16:01, 12 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Unlikely Rännilar does seem to still have a lot of unblocked socks though. Voice-of-All 19:49, 12 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Do you mean Rännilar or Qst? -- Boricua e ddie 19:56, 12 August 2007 (UTC) reply
It appears you meant Rännilar. Thanks for your help! -- Boricua e ddie 19:58, 12 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Tellyaddict/Qst/Rlest

Rlest was blocked for a week for personal attacks. On day five of his seven day block, User:Ds.mt arose. I notice a similarity of Ds.mt's userboxes with Qst's userboxes, his old account. I also noticed that this user (Ds.mt) installed TWINKLE and is familiar with policy in order to run for adminship (see this). Also, Rlest (see this relevant dif regarding a previous CU case) and Ds.mt use comments like "non-admin". In addition, before Rlest's block, he repetitively commented on Kmweber's behavior on his RFA comments by calling him an "idiot", etc. as well with an IP (see above). Ds.mt commented on Kmcweber's RFC. See also WP:SSP of Rlest and Qst. Miranda 18:20, 5 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Confirmed. Mackensen (talk) 21:11, 5 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Erm, he is not abusing nor editing with the other accounts; he just wants to be left alone. Is that so hard to ask for? «  ANIMUM  » 00:43, 6 August 2007 (UTC) reply
Yes, but he's using the sock to evade his block. i  said 04:09, 6 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Qst

Qst had an Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Qst fail earlier today, and got into a small scuffle with Moreschi about something that Moreschi said on the RfA. Qst seems to be considering leaving the project. However, I and several other users noticed that a user named Francisco Tevez was consoling Qst. The user seemed to appear out of the blue. Normally, this would be overlooked (as people often watchlist other's userpages), but then somebody noticed this oddity. Only administrators can read that edit; I have absolutely no idea how TSM's name got on this userpage. Sockpuppets are the only explanation that I can think of. Sean William @ 19:19, 6 July 2007 (UTC) reply

Added Molag Bal, mostly because of this edit and IRC discussion. There would seem to be some relationship going on here between at least 2 of those listed above. Moreschi Talk 19:23, 6 July 2007 (UTC) reply
Added an IP which recently vandalized Moreschi's talk page ( diff). Picaroon (Talk) 19:39, 6 July 2007 (UTC) reply

The Sunshines Man's name got on that page because he is my adoptee, and has been for nearly a month, (and I have been here since 31st may) and his name got there because I was copying some stuff from his userpage and I accidently copied his name. You have made a mistake. Francisco Tevez 19:30, 6 July 2007 (UTC) reply
