  • Supporting evidence:

Pattern vandalism to the article removing references to an alternative name for the body of water, arrived at via consensus, mediation and noticeboard. Not sure if the anons are related to a named user, but if so, that would be splendid to know. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 21:53, 3 July 2008 (UTC) reply

information Note: - there do not appear to be any accounts behind these IPs, and it looks like there are at least two different editors here - Alison 22:23, 7 July 2008 (UTC) reply
Okay, I understand that you are saying that two different users are indicated. Might I ask how you gleaned that info? They would appear to be geographically related. As well, I know there aren't accounts behind the anon IP's. All of the edits made by them were in the Persian Gulf article, as indicated by their history. Can you explain a bit more, please? - Arcayne (cast a spell) 22:35, 7 July 2008 (UTC) reply
I'd rather not, but note that there is technical evidence to suggest different editors / computers - Alison 22:41, 7 July 2008 (UTC) reply
Okay, and I can guess at the reasons for reticence. I am glad we aren't dealing with something more sinister. Thanks for checking. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 22:44, 7 July 2008 (UTC) reply
