Phaedriel

Phaedriel ( talk · contribs) – From her very first edit Phaedriel has been the exact model of a perfect Wikipedian. She is known across all of Wikipedia as one of the nicest and intelligent editors, as an editor that not only cares for the encyclopedia, but for the people that create it. Just take a look at her talk page to say the overwhelming amount of gratitude from other editors to see how much she is respected and liked. From her first edit on 05:20, 7 December 2005, she has 4134 edits as of this rfa, proving that she is not only a nice editor, but an extremly hard working editor also. Her edits spawn a wide variety of subjects, and her actual edits are of the highest quality. Overall, Phaedriel is an example to all of the perfect friend, editor, and admin. - My dear friends and fellow Wikipedians, I am completely in awe of your kindness and the spontaneous support that you've given me, even tho I didn't have the chance to express my opinion on this matter before it actually got going! :) For this, you all have my wholehearted thanks - I am deeply, incredibly moved. You may have noticed, tho, that just a couple of days ago or so I was also offered a nomination; and I requested then, as I must request now, to let the matter wait for just a few days. I am currently going through a very delicate personal matter (nothing unpleasant, don't worry; but still something that requires all my attention), and I must be completely sure of the outcome of this private issue before I even consider to take the step, for it may get in the way of my WP activity in the next months, or not - I'll only know for sure in the upcoming days.
- This being said, I wish to give each and every person who has trusted me so much by supporting me the biggest imaginable hug, and I ask you to be patient. Who knows? Maybe in just a few days, we'll actually be sitting here again, going through this hand in hand. But, even if that's not meant to happen, I won't be an ounce less happy than I am now, cause I wouldn't trade the kindness you've given me for any position in the world. - No, because she's declined (check the date, I believe you will find that it was before you said it should be transcluded, George...). We all should respect that and let this go. In fact if there were a way to let people know that people offering to nominate her are a bit late to the party that would be good. Excessive nominations can end up being a bit awkward for the nominee, frankly. Hmm... maybe the Phaedriel 2 RfA page should actually be created with a note saying "HEY, have you asked her yet" ?? Like so many others I would support in a minute if she stood but I'd rather not see her chivvied into it unless and until she wants it.

What your commant sounds like is that you were assuming I knew it was declined and just wanted to push it. - Neutral - There is no one (and I mean that literally - I am not exagerating in the slightest) whom I would rather see become an administrator than Phaedriel. However, she has chosen not to accept the nomination at this time and we must support that. - Comment- I know we're all very anxious to support Phaedriel, but we should not put the cart before the horse, as she has not accepted yet. I think I should also remind everyone of
Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Can't sleep, clown will eat me 2, which did not succeed because a lot of supports were placed before the user accepted, and before the page was transcluded onto
WP:RFA. I know none of us want Phaedriel to fail on a technicality, so should she choose to accept this nomination, I feel all of the comments here should be removed and replaced by the respective users after the acceptance.
