I've been hooked on Wikipedia since I stumbled across it in August of 2002. After more than a year of contributing, I figure it's time to throw my hat into the ring and ask for permission to be a moderator.
I promise to repeal the 2001 tax cuts, increase international cooperation in Iraq...errr, umm, wrong message. :)
Actually, I'm hoping that my conduct over the past year has been sufficient to show that I intend to use NPOV in a manner that will hopefully prevent heated rivalries (and worse) in the more controversial subjects, as I've tried to do with my additions to the Scientology articles. I also enjoy pop culture, and I intend to keep updating such life-changing subjects as movie and cartoon related articles, along with forays into topics related to skepticism, pseudoscience, and cults. -- Modemac 15:14, 8 Sep 2003 (UTC)
