I'm pleased to nominate
JeremyA. I keep running into him on RC patrol, as he reverts vandalism by hand faster than I can do it with the rollback button. He seems active in all areas of Wikipedia: fighting vandals, beginning articles, expanding others. And all this with a near-religious use of the "edit summary" function.

I accept the nomination, thank you.

Support. Looks good, JeremyA. You seem like a clear-headed and responsible editor, and I like what I'm seeing with the RC patrol. You have made more than your share of substantial new articles, and I think that we need people who are both article-writers as well as janitors. Unless I've overlooked something major, your record looks clean, and I have no second thoughts about giving you my support.

Support. Someone should design an RC Patrol insignia, or perhaps even a uniform. --

Support 100% I've always stated that a person with the makings of a great administrator should have a balance between working behind the scenes doing chores and contributing written articles. JeremyA has proven that he is an asset to the Wiki project and therefore, can be trusted with admin powers.

Support; everything I have seen is good. I bump into him on RC patrol a lot; give the man the keys to the mop room.

Questions for the candidate A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
A. I do a fair amount of RC patrol already, and being an admin would help me with this. I also anticipate helping in closing VfD debates and cleaning up CSD.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. There is no one article that I would hold up as my best. However, I am pleased with my contributions to the group of articles about the
Districts of Sheffield. When I started editing these were mostly short stubs, or just non-existent articles red-linked from the main
Sheffield page. This is still a work in progress, but I feel that the 28 articles that I created to group all the district articles into have progressed well—of these
Ecclesall is probably the best so far.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and will deal with it in the future?
A. I haven't had any large conflicts so far. I have some minor disagreements with other editors. Sometimes looking back at these situations I feel that initially I react badly, but so far I think that I have managed to make ammends whenever I have made mistakes. I think that I have learnt a lot from watching other conflicts from the sidelines, there are definitely some editors who are gifted at dealing with conflicts and I hope that I can learn from them. In particular, I have noticed on a number of occasions how a well written edit can satisfy all parties in a conflict.
