I am nominating
Inter to become an administrator here on Wikipedia. He has been here since October of last year, although he started to really contribue in December. While he was nominated previously (
see first nomination here), and I in fact voted against him, I wish I had not. At the time, I had not seen him do a lot of content edits, although that has now changed. He helped me greatly get
South Africa to being a Featured Article, and he is still also very active RC patrol. I had to help him block two IPs this morning because he was not able to do so himself. He has a total of 3528 edits. Thank you!

I RC patrol very rarely, but it seems like every time I do, I get into edit conflicts with him trying to slap a {{delete}} on some piece of nonsense or other. —

I was on RFA anyway,
Talk:New_York_City#Reorganization (near the end), shows how Inter is very capable of solving conflicts. Once he's built up some experience as an admin, he might also consider applying for mediator or arbitrator.

Does not meet my
admin criterion, and am concerned when one of a user's two proudest edits is just to add one full stop!

The edits to
South Africa that Inter is so proud of number four. Three of them were together, and left the article unchanged
[1], the other was incredibly minor
[2] (Inter added one full stop!). This sort of thing really makes me question what Inter is saying: if adding a full stop constitutes four of his proudest edits, I'm not sure we need him as an admin. In the interest of balance, I note his edits to
Marillion have been more extensive though
[3],
[4],
[5]. The Marillion edits were made in groups, so total 25 of the 1786 edits Korath is giving him credit for,

Your concerns are well meant but it has an explanation. The entire work I did on that article was conducted with PZFUN on IRC and hence he did all the editing while I displayed alot of changes in the text to him. PZFUN can verify this. My apologies for not mentioning this, but as I said, PZFUN can verify that indeed this was how we worked.

Yes, Inter listed things for me to change while I went ahead and changed them. I think I still have the IRC log somewhere, if you would like me to send it to you. Inter contributed a lot more to that article than his edits indicate by reading through it several times with me.

Questions for the candidate A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
I do many things. I used to be an active voter on VfD but now I tend to contribute more in terms of nominating articles I find on my rc patrols. I am a very active rc patroller and thus Rollback would be a very valuable tool for me. I previously helped out on the various cleanup projects and when they start up I will no doubt start to contribute again. If I am promoted, I will start looking at some of the backlogs of administrative pages such as Copyright violations.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
My contributions are more of a janitorial, tedious type of tasks, but I am and have contributed alot to
Marillion and everything they do, writing articles about their albums and whatnot. I am also involved in FAC's now, and have done more content additions such as helping
South Africa reach FA status.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and will deal with it in the future?
I am always trying to be neutral and mediate if I can. I do mediating upon request, which happened recently. I have been in no conflicts (not even on IRC where I may discuss with a passion if the subject interests me) and I never try to start one either. I'm a very stoic person, both on the net and in real life. Anon's tend to call me names, as thats who I mostly deal with, of various obscenities but I shrug it off and move on.
