Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:

I graciously accept the nomination to be an administrator ~ EinsteinMC2

Support

  1. I strongly support him, because I don't think it matters how many edits one may have, but their devotion to Wikipedia is what matters. I know that EinsteinMC2 has graciously helped me and I to him, he deserves this. - CalculusStudent23 user's first edit. Vote should not be counted Karmafist 22:45, 23 October 2005 (UTC) reply

Oppose

  1. Oppose. Needs way more experience. 223 total edits, with only 23 being made to article namespace [1]. Half of his edits have been to his own userspace. Also, he didn't really become active until about a week ago. Carbonite | Talk 21:19, 23 October 2005 (UTC) reply

  6. Oppose. Normally I wouldn't pile it on, but I just think you need some advice: 1) Creating other accounts (CalculusStudent23) to vote for you is strongly disapproved of. 2) Using formal, self-promoting, college-essay-type language, while it may come naturally to you, is unusual on Wikipedia; the atmosphere here is relatively informal, and people will look at you strangely for using the kind of phrasing you do. But you're perfectly welcome to make good contributions and accrue some more experience that will let you become an admin. ~~ N ( t/ c) 21:51, 23 October 2005 (UTC) reply
  7. Oppose per Nickpar Just not enough experience 223 Edits WAY to few and that sockpuppet kills it -- JAranda | watz sup 22:09, 23 October 2005 (UTC) reply
  8. Strongest Possible Oppose Let me pile it on, Nick.
  • Either Calculus is an awestruck newbie to Einstein, or far more likely he's a sockpuppet of Einstein, as Calculus signed out while putting in his sig [4],and immediately after the ip went on to welcome many users using Einstein's Welcome message [5], [6], [7]

and many more after that in sucession in a very poor attempt to dissuade people that Calculus is actually a sockpuppet.

  • 3 months is something of an positive exageration for his experience, he only had 25 edits before last week. I could make a Durin Chart showing this, but as this RFA has a 100% chance of failure, there's no point.
  • Pjacobi missed a WoW welcome [8]. WoW is a vandal so notable that he has had outside media talk about him(see Wikipedia:Long term abuse/Willy on Wheels.)
  • Any self-nom loses points with me.

And everything else that's been said above. I won't say anymore in the attempt to not violate WP:BITE. Please remove this nomination, Einstein come back in 6-9 months if you're still interested in becoming an admin. Karmafist 22:45, 23 October 2005 (UTC) reply

Questions for the candidate
A few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:

1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? (Please read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.)
A. I will perform all of the expected duties of an administrator. This would include preventing vandalism in a kind way and blocking or unblocking users who are guilty or innocent of this transgression. I will agree to protect all pages and revert changes made by vandals or by others who may have made an honest mistake. Therefore, after studying all of the duties of an administrator, and fully understanding them, I agree to meet all of the said standards and exceed the expectations of what a Wikipedian adminstrator should comply with.
2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
A. With regards to all of my contributions on Wikipedia, I am particularly pleased with the greetings that I have made to other Wikipedians. I feel that it is important to help them understand that they are welcommed into this community and I am more than willing to provide them cheerfull service when showing them the basics of Wikipedia.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A. The answer to your question is no, I have not been in any conflicts over editing. However, if this were to happen, I would deal with it calmly and make sure both sides are heard. If possible, I will reach a consensus among the users, and make sure that the result of the dispute is accurate and just.
