October 27 Information
ResolvedI've noticed that as more and more newspapers disappear, it becomes difficult to track down the archival articles. As far as I can tell, the San Mateo County Times disappeared sometime between 2011-2016 as it was subsumed by the San Jose Mercury News. The wiki article isn't very helpful with information about the archives. As dumb luck would have it, I'm looking for an article that was published on sanmateotimes.com in August 2011. How do I search the text of articles found in this archive by keyword? The interface only lets me search by words in the URL. The article I'm looking for was published in the San Mateo County Times sometime between August 1-17, 2011. The topic concerns the purchase of Pillar Point Bluff by San Mateo County.
