"The Infins" book

Hi,

When I was studying for my A levels my maths teacher gave me a book about these creatures called "infins" who lived in an infinite world, and there were an infinite number of them. Essentially it was a reworking of the Hilbert's Hotel story, with the infin's house replacing the hotel rooms. It then went on to describe how infins liked to create commities of every possible kind which eventually led to a contradiction - demostrating the number of subsets of N is "greater" than |N|. I rember it was a very thin paper cover book, with a red and white cover (it was very faded - perhaps 1970s?). Does this ring any bells with anyone? Google searches get mixed up with infin/infinite and so yield no results. 80.254.147.164 ( talk) 12:09, 6 December 2012 (UTC) reply
